Our battery powered wireless technology offers a reliable, user-friendly and affordable people counter solution. The door counter has 2 parts, a transmitter and receiver, which are positioned across the entry (max 6m) and generate a beam that is broken by people passing through.

The count data is transmitted every 10 seconds to our Sensor Network Gateway (SNG10E) unit that can be located anywhere within a range of up to 30m. Since the Sensor Network Gateway (SNG10E) unit requires an internet connection and a power point it is normally located under a service counter or in a back room. The Sensor Network Gateway (SNG10E) unit stores the count data and forwards it as data packets at regular intervals to our 'SensorServer™' reporting system.

The Sensor Network Gateway (SNG10E) is able to collect the counting data from up to 10 door counters. The Sensor Network Gateway (SNG10E) can be paired to operate with 3G Modem/Routers in remote areas and also able to be powered via POE (Power over Ethernet) devices.

Power over Ethernet or (PoE) is best described as networking that enables electrical power along with data on Ethernet cabling. This allows a single cable to provide both data connection and electrical power to devices. Our Sensor Network Gateway (SNG10E) device can be powered via the Ethernet point with the aid of a PoE splitter.

Event organizers, night clubs, recreation centres and venues will no longer have a hard time identifying the number of people in a certain place at any given time using our newest portable people counters. The digital display shows the current number of people in the room/venue by simply subtracting the number of people exiting from the number of people entering. The count number on the digital display constantly updates higher or lower depending on the number of people passing through the counter in either direction.

The Summer Reading Club is a FREE school holiday program with activities designed especially for children and young people.

Public libraries across Australia invite children/teens and families to join the Summer Reading Club, which is led by State Library of Queensland and in partnership with ALIA. The 2015 Summer Reading Club: Lost Worlds will officially run from Tuesday, 1 December 2015 to Thursday, 31 January 2016.

EvolvePlus has released VuFind SIP2 integration for our LMS drivers - providing a seamless experience for patrons to place holds, cancel holds, renew items all within the VuFind application.

The benefit of incorporating the above patron functionality is libraries no longer need to link from VuFind to their original LMS OPAC for processing reservations and renewals.  We have developed a separate SIP2Gateway web application that provides easier integration across library systems supporting the SIP2 standard without having to incorporate the SIP2 functions for every separate VuFind LMS driver.
